This listing is for a new electronic distributor for Dodge, Chrysler, and Plymouth small block ('64+ "LA") and earlier Polysphere ('55-'66 "A") V8 engines. Applications included: 273, 318, 325 Red Ram, 340, and 360 V8's.
This is a NEW distributor, not a second or blem! Perfect for upgrading non computer controlled engines. This is a simple 2 wire hook up - add 12V power plus an external coil, and you're "ready to run".

A high performance ignition module is contained on the distributor itself that produces increased performance, easily outperforming stock and many other aftermarket ignitions. Supplied with full system voltage, the increased output of the internal ignition will smooth out the engines idle, improve starting, and provides a much higher RPM range. Includes adjustable mechanical advance which allows you to tailor the ignition curve along with a vacuum advance for improved fuel economy when used on street applications.
This is perfect for upgrading from outdated points style distributors, factory and Mopar ECUs - including the dreaded "Lean Burn", or when space requirements limit using the bulky GM style HEI units. You will do away with the ECU control box, the ballast resistor, and those tangle of wires in the normal Mopar setup.
